Oplossing - Solution

Aangezien 1 een oplossing is, is  1² + k.1 + 3 = 0  ⇔  k = −4
Bijgevolg kan  x2 + kx + 3 = 0.  ontbonden worden in   (x − 1)(x − 3) = 0
Aan de tweede factor zie je dat 3 de andere oplossing is.
