Aantal getallen met precies één acht : 81 (8xx) + 72 (x8x) + 72 (xx8) = 81+144 = 225
Aantal getallen met precies twee achten : 9 (88x) + 9 (8x8) + 8 (x88) = 26
Aantal getallen met precies drie achten : 1 (nl. 888)
Totaal aantal : 225 + 26 + 1 = 252
