Oplossing - Solution

x2 − 4x + y2 − 2y = 9
x2 − 4x + 4 + y2 − 2y + 1 = 9 + 4 +1
(x − 2)2 + (y − 1)2 = 14
De cirkel heeft dus  ( 2, 1 )  als middelpunt.
Elke rechte door dat punt snijdt de cirkel in twee congruente delen.
De rechte  y = ½x  is zo een rechte.
